A flow depending on a due date in a spreadsheet

A SharePoint folder has multiple spreadsheet (.xlsx format) files. One spreadsheet has columns of due date (formatted), email addresses and name (with extension) of the files which belong to the email addresses.

I have a flow which searched through the above spreadsheet and if the due date arrived, it would attach the excel file and send it to the "Email address". My flow does not fail but it doesn't send any email.

Below is the first condition which it never meets and due to that, it stopped sending emails with the attached spreadsheet.

Hi @SB-wrk ,

I recommend you add one compose and add DueDate to it to see the format of outputs. This is to check if the value of DueDate is in the "yyyy-MM-dd" format in the flow, if not then you need to adjust the format in your expression.

Another suggestion is that I think you should use "equal to or less than" to tell if it expires.

Hi @v-mengmli-msft  Thank you very much, yes if I change it to "Is less than" it works but why it does not accept equal to? I want to send the email at a certain date and if I choose for example 20th of Feb or 21st of Feb, it will send the email today which is 19th of Feb with "Is less than" condition. 

Not sure how to set two conditions for it, 1. certain date 2. certain file

Hi @SB-wrk ,

Do you mean that there is another condition for file? What is the relationship between certain date and file?

When you select 20th of Feb or 21st of Feb, please check if it meets certain file and you are using Or in condition.

I suggest you use Or between equal to and less than, use And between DueDate and file if you want to send notification when the row has certain file and arrives DueDate.

Hi @v-mengmli-msft , Yes there are two conditions which both must be met.

One is when the file name (formatted) is equal to the file name which here is sara.xlsx

The above condition works by itself and there is not issues with it.

But when I add DueDate (formatted) is equal to Australia date and time --->>>formatDateTime(convertFromUtc(utcNow(),'E. Australia Standard Time'),'yyyy-MM-dd')

It stops working. I want an email with the attached file (sara.xlsx) to be sent when a certain date reaches.

So far, both conditions (AND) are not working it only works with (OR) and the only one which works is the formatted file name.

Hi @SB-wrk ,

If you are using the row in picture to test, no notification will be sent because utcNow() just get current date. They aren't equal obviously.

If you are using a row with current date to test but still no notification sent, I recommend you check outputs of DueDate. Are they in "yyyy-MM-dd" or another format?

Hi @v-mengmli-msft , It somehow works today. I noticed in the output of the old ones which never sent the email, the formatted column is showing my other flows formatted columns names, which is strange as I mapped it correctly to the current spreadsheet columns but don't know why it was pointing at another spreadsheet column. Thank you for your help.
