A response from MS Forms to a choice(s) column in dataverse

I'm struggling whole day with in my opion a very simple action. I just want the answer of a MS Forms multi select check box in a dataverse choices column. A choice single select also no working. I've tried a lot with the explaining video's online but all are related to Sharepoint. Maybe Dataverse is different I can't figure out what to do to make this work. I tried the replace replace replace or join till its like :  answer 1, awnser2, awnser3  (not working  so far)

Please anyone? 🙂

You put the int( ) more on the outside of the expressions to convert to a number after the replaces have done their job.

From what I can figure out, the result of concatenate, trim and replace actions would be a string that looks like this if Breakfast and Dinner are chosen:

759090000,759090002

Would using int() on this not result in an error because of the comma? 
I did try creating an array of each number after replace, similar to your suggestion, by using int() on each number.  But when I used Join for the array of int() numbers seperating the numbers with a comma, Dataverse was not happy and gave me the error message that the numbers were not integers.

If it’s multiple choice with commas, then I don’t see how it could be expecting an int or number value.

Looking at your original comment, did you have it just returning a set of comma-separated numbers like the example? Or was it actually returning that array & double-quotes type of format?

I tried many options suggested on this Forum and only one solution worked for me in the case of a user submitting a MS Form with multi-select options (for Communication Channels in this case).  The requirement was to update a Dynamics solution table field or column with the all the options selected by the User.   

Here is the solution which ran successfully:

1. The first step was to replace all the labels selected by the user in the Form with the number values required for Dataverse:

and then to replace all the resultant inverted commas which can probably be done in the same step as above but I like to keep things simple for clients to maintain:

2. The next step was to create an array of the resultant numbers (creating an array will allow you to work with each number seperately:

split(outputs('Clean_up_the_result'),',')

 3. The third step is to convert the string numbers to integers, which are required for updating Dataverse.  I had previously tried Join expression and a variety of other alternatives but the only one that ran successfully for multiple options was to loop through the array and within the loop use Append to string function with int() to create the input used for updating Dataverse.   The string I was appending to was a variable which is used to update Dataverse/Dynamics

Concat is used to add the comma after each integer or choice value. 
4. The final steps are simple - just remove the comma at the end of the resultant variable by using length of variable, subtracting 1 from length and using substring function to provide the variable used to update Dataverse.
My flow looks like this:

@Robin1988 @dcastillo1 These are the steps that I followed. 

Step 1: You need to make an object.

Step 2: Select operation

In select action: 

From : 

json(outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/r85cb2d86f8d042e69385c556d189a9ae'])

(This is your Form response)

Map :

variables('BenifitStatusVar')?[item()]

(You need to map variable's items as object is in two parts you are basically matching the response from Microsoft form and map it with the values of dataverse.) 

To simplify I changed Dataverse value to 0,1 etc.

Step 3: Join operation

In Join action.

You just need to join everything with ','

At the end you need to put that output in the dataverse field.
