Adding approvers dynamically after every response

Hello, 

I am building a flow, that activates when a new document is submitted. 

I have a sharepoint list, where the approvers are taken from. 

I made a colum in my document libary called "Read and Understood", and made a flow, that sends an approval every time a new document is added into the brief. 

My problem is, that I want to update the "Read and Understood" after every approval. Right now it just replaces the newest approver to the colum. But i want to add, so I can see everybody who approved in the colum. 

Does anyone have a workaround?

Do you mean you want append each approvers' responses to "Read and Understood" column?

Notice that you will send separate approvals to each approver, so they will return separate outcomes in each "Apply to each" loop. You just need to add a "Get file properties" action in the "Apply to each" to get "Read and Understood" column current value, and then in "Update file properties" you can update "Read and Understood" column with old value and appended value.

I think this must be the workaround.

However after implementing the flow gets stuck at the first "Apply to each", it does not start the next one.......

Do you know why this could be?

Hi @EmilieNybo1 ,

Do you mean the flow got stuck on this step?

The "Start and wait for an approval" step will wait for approver making response and then will it move on to next step.

Plus, remember to add a "Get file properties" before update loop. Refer to my demo please:

I does not start the approval, that is my issue.

It is just running at "Apply to each" and then failing after some minutes.

Please provide a snap of running history of the failed process (not edit mode), plus its error message.

I tried running the flow again, and it does not seem to find my user, so it can update the file properties. 

In the Outputs it says

"The user [] Emilie Nybo Nielsen was not found.\r\nclientRequestId: 69f5ff54-a11e-46c3-92fe-2a5b59b7da6a\r\nserviceRequestId: 69f5ff54-a11e-46c3-92fe-2a5b59b7da6a"

The building in the flow looks like this:

Where "Læst & Forstået" is my Read and understood colum. 

Did I miss a step about reading the userprofile?
