Good Morning All,
I am using one template from Flow to send a weekly report in HTML to the Sales manager for Open Opportunities.
After researching a bit I figured out how to get the Account Names into the Account column in the HTML table.
My issue now is I cannot insert the HTML table into the email without it being under the "Apply Each" action. I now get an email for every opportunity created (30 or so) Is there a way I can get the list of opportunities sent in 1 email ?

So here is how you can do it:
1. Choose the trigger that you want to.
2. Select the action -> List records from Dynamics 365 -> select the opportunity entity here
3. Initialise an array variable (keep the value blank for now)
4. Select the action -> Apply to each control
5. Select the "value" option from the dynamics inputs for the apply to each control
6. Within the loop select the action -> Get record -> select the account entity and for the item identifier, select the "Account" from the dynamic content of "List records action"
7. within the loop select the append to array variable action -> select the variable you initialised -> in the value type :
{
"Account" : (select the account name from the dynamic content under get record list) ,
"Created On" : (select the created on option from the dynamic content under the list records list-- you will have to scroll down a lot for getting to this)
//Repeat the same for the other fields. This is JSON type so ensure you don't make any syntax errors especially the commas and colons.
}
8. Out of the loop -> Add a new action -> Create a HTML table and choose the array from the dynamic content to generate te table.
9. Send email action.

Should this run completely and dump just he account names into html table and email me that?
I spoke with our CRM provider who stated that Account Name on the Opportunity Entity is a lookup field that uses the GUID and the logical name for it is ‘accountid’. I tried that and received this error when running the flow,
The execution of template action 'Create_HTML_table' failed. The column values could not be evaluated: 'The template language expression 'item()?['accountid']' cannot be evaluated because property 'accountid' cannot be selected. Property selection is not supported on values of type 'String'. Please see https://aka.ms/logicexpressions for usage details.'.

The default template in flow for this gives you the guid but I wanted to get the created by names of the employees along with the accounts.

A few points to consider here:
1. By putting the "Create a HTML Table" in the foreach loop, you are creating so many HTML tables and as the "Send Email" action depends on this, you are unable to move that action out of the loop.
2. You can follow this: "Initialise an Array Variable outside of the loop" Inside the loop "Append to array variable", outside the loop, create a HTML table with custom headers and then finally send the email action with the output table.

Just to add, so that it is convenient, here is how you can create the HTML table with custom headers from the array:
1. Choose the Create HTML table action -> Select the array in the from option -> Set the Include Headers to yes -> Select the Columns as Custom -> In the first row, type the name of the header you want and in the value, type this expression -> @item()?[‘object name from array’]. (here, the object name from array corresponds to the logical name of the field that you are bringing in from Dynamics).

I believe the array intitalize and append is not right. I did that and added that expression to the table but the Action Name field does not display.
Hey! Over here, please check the Value field in Append to variable. You are pointing it to the variable itself, Instead, the value should point to the D365 record.

Also, please leave the value in the Initialise variable as blank.

I have tested this one and it works in my environemnt. Kindly make the changes I have suggested. Can you please share the formula expression part of the flow (it somehow got cut off in the scereenshot)

Hey! Please replace "object name from Array" with the logical name of the dynamics field. This refers to the object names in the array that we are creating.

I have added the Logical Name for the field "Account Name" go to save and get the same error as sent before.
Hey! BTW, you could skip the array part and directly create the HTML table as shown in the screenshot (without using the loop). Account details can be directly accessed from the dynamics values. Kindly check and confirm if this is not the case with you (There might be a role based access control to directly access the record and in such case the array option is the best choice).

have tested this but the issue is when you have "Account" selected it does not bring over the Account name for this field.

1. In the fromula, can you get rid of the single quotes and retype them? For some reason flow is not recognising the ones that we are copying and pasting from the blog. It works well when you do it that way. Have a look at the screenshot attached.

I tested this, was able to save but when i went to run the flow it failed.
Do i need to add the other columns i would like to have in the HTML table as well? Do i need to use that expression for each one?
Hey! Yes that is true. You will have to do it for all the columns (field names). I see that you put 'AccountName' in one of the values. Just so that you know, you have to use the logical names of these fields. for AccountName, the logical field name would be ('accountname'). Kindly check this on the D365 solution that you are trying to connect to.

Also, I just noticed that you again added the Create HTML Table action inside a loop and this might have happened when you were selecting the value from the dynamic value selector. Remember, the values are already there in the array. You just have to create the custom headers and use the formula to map those fields. Also, verify the output table you are mapping to in the send email action.
Yes that was by accident it automatically changed to apply to each for.

Im going to look at the other fields once i get the Account Name field working. It is still erroring out,
