Approval process : Flow stucks in approval step

Hello PA community,

I am building a Flow that lists an amount of Dynamics 365 records and sends an approval request before continuing its process (deleting associated records).

When I test my Flow, it remains in the "Start and wait approval" step, without sending any email or notification to approvers...

Please find the step's configuration by following this link. The flow finally failed because of a timeout in the approval step.

I tested this senario on a customer environment and in a "Modern workplace" Microsoft environment, thinking it would be linked to a license issue.

Do you have any ideas about this case ?

Hi @af5 ,

First please make sure you have set Enable notifications to Yes.

Then you could check if the Approval email has been moved to Junk email folder.

Besides, when configuring Condition you should replace Responses with Outcome.

Thank you for your reply, and for the Condition step correction. 

I already marked the "Enable notifications" option to Yes and I didn't receive any notification, nor email (prior box or junk box) nor from Power Automate mobile app (which is really strange).

Please find in this link the detail configuration of my "Start and wait approval" step.

If my configuration is correct, I have some hypothesis :

• Do I need specific licence in order to start/receive the Approval actions ?
• Do the users specified in "Assigned to" part must be different from the Approval connection user ?

Hi @af5 ,

Since that you could create an approval connection, this issue should not be related to license and we could assign approval to ourselves.

Please try to recreate the Flow and check if there are any approval requests in the Received list.
