Really struggling with this and hope someone can help me understand where I'm going wrong or if what I want to do is possible in our SharePoint online tennant. Here is the business scenario...

- We have a folder for Management Reporting

- In this parent folder there is a nested folder structure, meaning...reports are by store->by function (parts, service, sales)->by month

- Various department heads stage for lack of a better term, monthly reports into a staging folder by department. Meaning, parts director deposits his monthly report into staging/parts folder, service director does the same etc. 

- Instead of uploading that report to each store 30 times for each function like parts, I'm wondering if we can create a forkflow that triggers on "When a file is created in a folder" and deposit a copy into each stores folder. All locations are part of the same library. 

*I understand one can ask why do you need to copy the same report to 30 folders, why not just point the users to one common location, I've asked the same thing and was told this is how we want it done. There are other store specific reports that will go into each store folder and we have permissions configured where stores can't see each others reports (they don't cross) and part two of that is they want all reports to be in one location instead of going to check a common place for common reports and store specific reports in another location (if that makes any sense). 

Here is what I tried...trigger is set to if a file is created in the staging/parts folder...

Take the following action...take that file and copy it to the destination folder. My plan is to itterate through destinatin folder by utilizing a similar parth but to call it "Current Month". Once a month someone will go in and rename the current month to a name like October 2019 and create a new "Current Month" folder as I can't as far as I know itterate on the months and need to use a static destination folder. 

Part that's not working is this...the File to Copy. If I have reference a file by name exactly and then deposit a file with that exact name into the staging folder, it executes properly the copy. If I try to reference a file by wildcard such as *.xlsx if failes with file not found. Is there any way to desginate the file to copy as anything with an excel extension that hits that staging folder?

I've never used the SharePoint Copy File action, but usually with this kind of action you can just copy one file at a time.

The file identifier, used with File to Copy, can be retreived from the trigger step.

The other scenario could be created with an action that creates a list of files in that folder.

You can loop through the results of that list (For Each) en copy the file one by one to the other folder.

You could choose the "File identifier" dynamic content from the trigger in the File to Copy field, please refer to screenshot below to create the flow:

The File identifier seems to be working. Please give me a day or two to test with business units and then I'll mark as solution. Thank your help, this was far simpler then I imagined.
