Create a task in planner after a new Teams channel is created

Hi, 

I have the idea to create the following automation flow but i can't find the right solution yet.

1. Trigger by either email or sharepoint file 
2. Create a new channel in a team (Teams)
3. Create a new bucket planner and asign in to the new channel created in step 2.

3. Create a task and asign in to the new bucket created in step 3.

When i try this, see attachment, i cannot find a plan ID.

Anyone know if what i want is possible?

If you're trying to add a new bucket to an existing plan you can get the planid from the url. Go to the Plan you are looking to add to and you will see the id in the url like this

https://tasks.office.com/YOURDOMAIN/en-GB/Home/Planner/#/plantaskboard?groupId=GROUPIDNumber&planId=...

If you're looking to create a new Plan and Add buckets to it you'll need to a different route first

I've added a new plan with your HTTP request solution. 
However i am stuck on creating a new bucket.

How can i use the plan id that is generated in the HTTP request in the next step of creating a bucket?

Hi

Use a compose action after the Send an HTTP request with the following expression

body('Send_an_HTTP_request')['id']

 

 Use the output of the Compose in the Plan Id of the create a bucket

 To add a task to the new bucket add a new compose to get the bucket id

body('Create_a_bucket')['id']

add the outputs of the Compose to Plan Id in Create a task
add the outputs of Compose 2 to Bucket Id in Create a task
 
This will then create your task in your new plan under your new bucket

 This is how the flow looks

Thanks, this solution worked.

Now i am facing the final problem. 
We want to link the plan we made with the bucket and task to the team channel that is created in the first step. 

I believe this is done be adding a tab to the teams channel, do you know how to do that? I cannot find an action in power automate for it. 

Add it like the screenshot ("Project plan test final" is the plan with tasks that is created in the flow, but i had to do this step manually and want to automate it:

You can work that into what you have already

You just need to adjust the final Send an HTTP request to use the plan id from the Compose - Plan Id that we created initially

That should work ok for you.
