Create planner tasks for flagged emails in Office 365

Hi, 

I have a flow running which creates planner tasks for flagged emails in Office 365. 

I usually flag my email with time-specific flag. For instance, I flag my email with 1-week flag or tommorow flag. Is it somehow possible to set up "due date" in my flow based on my time-specific flag?

I'm not sure if there is an "Action" which can do the same, but you'll be able to retrieve more information with the action: Send an HTTP request"

[Message Id] -> Dynamic value used from the trigger -> retrieves only that message

The send HTTP gives you a bunch of information including the due date of the flagged status.

You'll be able to use the action "Parse JSON" to retrieve that data.

(Edit 25-11-2022): Under "Flagged status" there you will find 2x the same name: "DateTime" & "Timezone". Use the one which corresponds with the Duedate (view the body of the HTTP request to see if it's the first or the second)

Hi,

That's no problem.

1. To get the "Schema" you'll have to run the Flow first with a example.

2. in the test run of the flow, you'll see the body of the "Send HTTP request"

1. Just test the flow with a flagged mail.

2. The "Send HTTP request" will then also run once and returns a code to you (named, "body").

3. You'll see this code if you open te test run itself.

4. Expand the action "Send HTTP Request"

5. The whole "body" is the code you'll need for the parse JSON

3. Copy this code, the full body of it

4. Now go back to "Edit" mode of your flow.

5. in the "Parse JSON" action

- Body: Choose the dynamic value "body" from the "Send HTTP Request"

- Schema:

1. Choose "Generate from sample"

2. Paste the copied code and press "Done"

The schema should be filled right now.

In the next action you'll be see and select the dynamic values which come from the body of the "Send HTTP Request".

Now you can use this DateTime value and do whatever you want with it.

You can add days to it if you want, or just paste the "DateTime" value  in the "DueDate" of your planner task.

You'll be able to use the DateTime & TimeZone, which can be found underneath the dynamic value "FlaggedStatus".

Use the correct DateTime. You'll be able to see which is the correct if you view the body itself and look for these values. (view the body of the HTTP request to see if it's the first or the second)
