Custom ID to be changed to 001 after a Certain Day of a Certain Month Hits

Overview of My flow below 

So essentially, I am able to create a custom ID from the Flow (It is not something the user adds)

I created in this example 352-2023-011 and it is then added to my list in Sharepoint 

However, This is where an issue arises where im not quite sure how to do.

I want the Last three Digits of that Custom ID (Which is 011 in this case) to become 001 when May 1 hits. 

The Custom ID increments and the last 3 numbers will always go up by one.

How can I reset my Custom ID to 352-2023-001 when May 1st hits?

(For testing reasons, we can also have it to todays date. as long as the logic is fine it wont matter :))

You could handle this in a few different ways.

You might consider storing the value 2023 in a SharePoint list - this list will have a single row if data.  Retrieve the value from that list when constructing your custom ID.

Then, create another Flow that runs daily shortly after midnight (remember to consider your time zone) on the list with 2023.  If the date is May 1 (in any year), increment the year value by 1.

Another way is to take the current date.  If the date is between 1 May and 31 December, add 1 to the year.  Otherwise, use the year from utcNow().

I have the year to look at a date and grab the year however that isnt what i want to be reset. its that last 3 digits from my example above. I feel that is more towards the change of the 2023 instead of the 011 as per the example . Please  correct me if im wrong.

Where are you getting your three digit number from?

Ive crafted it from the images above, So that its only made via flow. What Get items does is get the previous 2 Submission IDs. Then I target the previous ID that is second to the new item listed and then remove the 011 from its string to become an integer , increment it by 1, format it back using the format number Action and then return it to the string via concatenation and update the list item.
