Delay until time on certain weekdays

Hi

I'm struggling with the 'Delay until' in Power Automate. I've searched this forum but I only find help for specific dates or times. I can not use a trigger like 'Recurrence' since this is triggered by a PowerApp.

I want to add a delay that waits until (whichever comes first):

Monday at 7AM (UTC+01:00) Stockholm

Or

Tuesday at 7AM (UTC+01:00) Stockholm

Or

Wednesday at 7AM (UTC+01:00) Stockholm

Or

Thursday at 7AM (UTC+01:00) Stockholm

Or

Friday at 7AM (UTC+01:00) Stockholm

There is no way to do a delay like that.  Normally in that case you would create the flow as a recurrence flow that would trigger at 7AM each weekday.

I see, thanks for letting me know. Maybe I'll set up a child flow which runs on a recurrence and some intermediary storage of the data from the master flow.

Child flows can't be recurrence triggers.  But you can setup a separate flow that will pick up data stored in a data source by a master flow.  Child flow implies that it would be triggered by the master.  It wouldn't be.  It would be triggered by timing.

Ok, lets see if I understand this. 😄

If; today is between monday and friday, before 7AM

 wait until today at 7AM.

Else if; it's between sunday and thursday

 wait until tomorrow at 7AM.

Else if; it's friday,
 wait until 7AM three days ahead

Else if; it's saturday

 wait until 7AM 2 days ahead

Can't see why this shouldn't work, this is brilliant. I could probably have figured this out in PowerApps but it's so hard to build complex formulas like this in power automate. Thank you!

I'm trying to break that code apart to achieve a much simpler solution, but I'm struggling a bit.

The request I've received from a colleague was "Can we delay an email in the flow to be sent at 6pm?" I figured a solution similar to the would be needed. I guess the only test I'd need to do is if time now is before 18:00, wait until 18:00 today. If it's after 18:00 send tomorrow at 18:00.

Any help on how to adapt the example above would be much appreciated!
