Dynamics 365 Customer Voice - get personalised data

Hello,

I have a flow that sends individual MS forms pro (Dynamics 365 Customer Voice send a survey action) links to the interviewers. The first question of the form is the candidate information - name, userID etc. - for the interviewer to confirm the candidate before starting the interview.

I also have another automated flow triggered when the form is submitted. Both flows work fine, for the second flow I would like to get the candidate information from the Question text or alternatively auto-populate the form answer text with the candidate information, however I don't know the way of achieving this. I would appreciate any help.

Hi @Anonymous ,

In surveys at the right hand side you should see personalization option where in you can add 15 variables to the survey and utilize them in the flows.

Thanks for your response. I do not have any problems adding variables to the question text. I am trying to auto-populate my answer text with my variable value, however, I am not sure whether or not it is possible in power-automate.

Yes you can use the variables in power automate and use it for populating values.

Hi,

I am also facing the same issue. The link shows how to adjust the variable in the flow that is sending the survey out. This is completely unrelated to the issue the original poster has.

When a response is submitted, is there a way to obtain the variables or personalised data that were set when sending the survey?

The solution is to create hidden question ( make the logic for the question to never show ) then in your flow populate the values of those variables. That’s how i did it works like a charm

Hi @Chris-Piercy ,

In order to get the values of parameters you need to query on Survey invite of the survey response. Context parameter field holds all the parameters that you have defined for the survey.
