Email someone when 1 selection to a question is ticked

I have a Microsoft Form for a new starter, one of our team would like to be emailed when 1 selection to a question is ticked. 

We have a list of questions. Under one question there are multiple things that can be selected, when one box is ticked under the question it needs to send an email when it's selected and ignore everything else on the form. 

On the email I can easily pull in info from the form under dynamic content for the email. I just need to monitor this one selection.

I have tried to create a flow

Forms - When a new response is submitted

then Apply to each> List of responses > condition >   list of responses >contains > the select resource id

if yes  > sent emails V2   if no  > do nothing 

Is this right?  I cannot get it to trigger when the selection is ticked. Please can someone point me in the right direction?

@chriscooper103 first of all don't use the Forms template in Power Automate. It puts in that illogical apply to each which can cause problems with a flow. Create a new instant flow from blank and immediately after the Forms "when a new response is submitted" trigger add the "get response details" action.

Next add a Join control and from the Expression tab in the dynamic content box enter json() and inside the brackets select your mult-select question from the form from the dynamic content tab.

Finally, add a condition and from the dynamic content box select the outputs of the Join contains then in the right field enter the text you want to look for. You can leave the red if no channel empty and in the green if yes channel add your email action.

Thanks Rob but still can't seem to get this working.

Looks like the screens have updated, so I'm not getting the same selections as you have provided, when I get the responce details I can't seem to see the question in the form listed as an option, I've even tried making a new question just with a yes or no selection but it still doesn't display as a option to select. Very frustrating.

You've still got that apply to each in your flow. As I said in my previous post it can cause problems so get rid of it and have the get response details immediately after the when a new response is submitted trigger.

Thanks Rob , so what do I select under the response id, how can I get the response id?

@chriscooper103 as the flow was originally created from the template, the template pre-dates the change to Response ID. So select "List of response notifications Response Id"

Thanks Rob , I stripped it all done and simplified and got it working.  Thanks for your help
