Error: The power flow's logic app flow template was invalid. The template language expression 'outputs('Get_response_details')?

hello everyone, I built this flow and successfully ran it several times. I deleted some of the dynamic content to revise the flow and suddenly, I started receiving this error message the prevents me from saving the flow.

NOTE: this information is formatted as a "Number" in SP List and in the MS Form.

Full Error Message: The power flow's logic app flow template was invalid. The template language expression 'outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/r5b837addce2340c5ad6f485770b8f9ba']@outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/r192f390b0f924c7eb3046d6c26052388']' is not valid: the string character '@' at position '74' is not expected.

I think I have isolated the actual problem to the "Create Item" portion and specifically when I attempt to add more than one dynamic content in the below columns. However, I am also a little confused by the error includes "'outputs('Get_response_details')?" which is from another portion of my flow that does not appear to have any issues.

I am pretty confident that this problem:

1. is not column formatting in my SP List or in my Form: I have triple-checked that all formats match correctly. Every column and question match the "Number" format. But I am also still receiving this error when I run the flow. This error occurs even when there is a single dynamic content in the field (see below).

pbj2011_0-1704536102611.png

And how do I find item/field_24? Is it the 24th item from "List Name" or is it from "Site Address"? I'm not sure where to find these labels. The item highlighted below is the 24th item from "List Name". But I have verified that this column, (along with the ones two above and below it) are formatted correctly across my SP List and MS Form...so I am still unclear why this error persists.

pbj2011_2-1704536325739.png

2. is not any other portion of my flow: see the screenshots below. I can successfully save the flow with a single dynamic content:

pbj2011_1-1704535124206.png

But when I attempt to add a second dynamic content, it gives me this error. For context, both of these dynamic contents are separate items, even though they appear the same. I have also already tried flip-flopping them with no effect. I can successfully save both, as long as there is only one dynamic content in this row (see above).

I've tried everything I know how to do and am at a loss, any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @pbj2011

First find out the display name of the field for which flow throws an error.

You could locate & get the display name of "field_24" by navigating to List "Settings". Scroll down to "Columns" section and click on a field:

You could locate the internal name of the field in the web address (URL). The query string parameter 'Field' value is the internal name of the field (part after Field= in url).

Here, internal name of "Email" is same, but you could find the actual filed using this method:

Next, verify the value set in the flow for that field. Add an expression with if() function to set null if value set is blank or empty string.

If this helps & solves your problem, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.

Thanks

Thanks, that helped to verify my field number, which was helpful.

But I am still unclear why I cannot add multiple dynamic content into a Create Item field. It only lets me add a single dynamic content (ex: only from MS Form question #29).

MS Form Question Numbers

The below questions are all formatted as "Numbers". These are the three questions and associated content I am trying to place into the Create Item field "Asset Quantity".

SharePoint List:

The List column is also correctly formatted as a number.

pbj2011_4-1704550506200.png

I am trying to place the dynamic content from Form questions #29, 72, and 107 into the below field.

This image allows me to save the flow successfully, but I still get the error below when I run a test. And I need all three dynamic content in the field, not just one.

pbj2011_6-1704550721236.png

Example: when I place all three dynamic content into the Asset Quantity field, Flow Checker pops up and does not allow me to save the flow. I have this same problem with other fields that require me to put multiple dynamic content into it when the content/columns are formatted as a "Number".

This is the error I receive when I run the flow:
