Hi,
I have searched the already present Questions, but I didn’t find a similar situation.
Maybe one of you can point me to the related post or help me out.
I have used an JSON array inside a compose.
[{ "name":"value" }].
[
{
"Filter": "Modified ge DateTime'@{outputs('%FunctionName%')}’"
}
]
I run the same json array in two ways.
Variant 01: Direct inserted in compose inside a Flow
In the Value Part I have nested an expression in e.g. ,@{outputs('%FunctionName%')}. I run this in a compose it works.
Variant 02: Load into the Flow from External File on the SharePoint
In order to get it into the Flow again I use the following procedure / function to get the file as JSON array into the compose.
The second/ outer Json is required to split the body from the header.
This brings the data as JSON into my compose again (From File).
Issue 001 in regard to Variante 01.
I was able to paste it so far, but with an certain addition to the JSON array, I can not paste the JSON array into the compose anymore. Reason Unkown so far and still under investigation. -> I looked for a second solution in order to avoid the copy paste and use the direct file where I write the JSON data in.
Issue 002 in regard to Variante 02
I can work with the array from the file in the same way except for on item.
The nested expression inside the JSON array is not working. They are displayed to me in the manner. @{outputs('%FunctionName%')} but wouldn't be translated.
My Target
I am looking for a solution to make Variant 2 work.
How to Solve?
What do I have to change in order to have the similar results disregard to the way how I feed the json data into the compose (directly vs. from file)
Are you able to show some screenshots of your flow to understand it a bit better?
Hello,
Thanks for the reply.
I just made a simple example flow about my problem.
Starting Conditions
The Compose “Last Check” just contain an e.g. for a content.
The Compose “Compose Json”. and “ShowRawFileContent” Contain same the same data. Only difference 1st is inside the flwo, the second is from external file via "ShLoadFileByPath".
This is the data I have put in.
Observation during running the flow
If I have a closer Look at "Compose JSON" I see that before the Compose would be processed the unformatted input already processed the Expression ““@{outputs('LastCheck')}” to "2023-11-18T09:13:07.5679609Z" as i supposed to be.
RAW Input “Compose JSON” : Variante 01
“[
{
"Title": "Created",
"Filter": "Modified ge DateTime'2023-11-18T09:13:07.5679609Z'and Created ge DateTime'2023-11-18T09:13:07.5679609Z' and EventPassed eq '0'",
"SortBy": "Startzeit asc"
}
]”
RAW Input of “ShowRawFileContent” Variant 02
“[
{
"Title": "Created",
"Filter": "Modified ge DateTime'@{outputs('LastCheck')}'and Created ge DateTime'@{outputs('LastCheck')}' and EventPassed eq '0'",
"SortBy": "Startzeit asc"
}
] „
Summary:
The Expression “@{outputs('LastCheck')}” has not been processed during loading from file how can I trigger it?
If I process further on to get the file to be read in JSON I still have the problem that the expression hasn’t been processed during loading.
