Filter Query - SharePoint Get items

This is similar to other posts in here, but none of the advice seems to work in this case.

The flow is triggered on receipt of an email, sent from the Azure portal.  It strips out the email address and the application name the user is applying to use. 

in a nutshell: 

The get items is to check AppName against a sharepoint list.

If it exists - email back with a response why that app is denied

If it doesn't exist - email back a response requesting more info.

If i use the object in the Filter - it returns an error: 

If I hard code the Filter Query:  Title eq 'actual application name'

Nothing happens.

yep, using quotes as; Title eq 'actual application name'

That's when I hard code the app name...    

the actual desired method is using the output from the previous steps, but that gives me the errors as shown in my original post.

please see if in your list configuration you have the correct column name

and please don't use white spaces

Please run Get items action without configuring Filter Query to get the actual name of the column.

And you could configure the condition outside Apply to each as follows:

yeah, not solved..  Was dragged on to something else, so didn't have a chance to reply.

Removed the filter as suggested, the output of the flow is has :

So "Title"  is the actual name on the column?

In the flow itself, if I put:

I get and error: "Column 'Blah app name' does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user."

If i put quotations around "Title", that obviously fails as well.
The $filter expression ""Title" eq Blah app name'" is not valid. Creating query failed.

and the condition below already has the expression, it's not even getting that far before failing....

There are over 1000 items in this sharepoint list. I only want to check if the string AppName exists in a single column or not.

Hi @grantreid ,

Please add a single quote outside Outputs. Maybe you could use substringof() to filter items.
