Flow sending duplicate emails?

shure @Anonymous  what you need to do is create a initialized array variable and then save all the values in your list, then outside your apply to each you can use your array value to compare if the email is equals to zzz then send the message. See this example

I'm doing the same but instead list of sharepoint a list of channels.

Then outside your apply to each you can use a condition to do the compare

hi @Anonymous  the think is that you are using a value that is not filtered by the condition so if the condition is tru you just need to write the email that you want to be notified just type it, becouse if you use again a sharepoint value see a new apply to each is going to appear and of course you are going to send emails to all of the persons in your list.

ok @Anonymous  now I understhand better, so my question is how do you know who is the user that you need to select if the status is xxx, what I'll do is add  a column in the list 2 called status and then compare if the value status in my list 1 is equals to the value status in the list 2 then use that record email to send it something.

hi @Anonymous  see this example, I try to replycate what you need and my example sends only an email if the ststus is OK

Please consider that this works if in my list just have 1 row with OK status because if I have more that 1 I'm going to send emails to all of the trainerMail colum values that in status contains OK

How many items are in the list? 

What is your issue?

You said the flow would send the duplicate emails, this is an expected behavior since your flow would send the email whenever an item run into the if yes branch of the Condition.

So do you want to receive only one email if any items (maybe 1,maybe 2,3....) run into the If yes branch? does all the items would have the same Trainner? or there maybe many Trainner ,however you want every Trainner would receive only one email? 

I suggest that you should explain more details of the issue so we could better understand you.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Do you want to check if the status column of the new created item contains xxx, if yes, send the email, right?

If yes, please refer to screenshot below to create the flow:

You should have an identify for the new created item, such as you could add the email received time in the Title of the item, then you could check the Title in the Condition.
