Flow that send an Email with all the Outlook calendar appointmets of the next day.

Hi! as the tittle says, I'm working on a flow that sends you an email with all your appointmets for the next day at 18:00 every day.

I'm currently creating 2 time stamps, one that is the next day at 08:00, and the other one 18:00.

Then I use get calendar to get all my calendar items, I use a condition that checks if the start time of the calendar items is equal or greater than 08:00 and the end time is equal or less than 18:00.

If positive send me an email with the event data. No succes so far, sometimes it sends me a few but I don't know why sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Maybe some events that have recurrency have a problem with the start and end dates? Here's the flow.

Hi there.  So, when you say "No success so far..." what is happening?  Looking at what you have so far, it looks like you might be getting a single email for each event, is that the case?

If so, you may want to consider the same structure, but instead of the send email, have a step to Append to an Array variable.

Then, outside of your Apply to Each loop, you can send the email with the variable as the body of the email.

Just a thought, but please keep us posted.

Right now even when I have a calendar full of events it's not sending me anything, it all goes into false in the condition. Sometimes one or two events pass as true and i get the email.

Yeah I know currently it sends me one for each event, I'll try what you suggested when I can make it work.

Here's the condition in case I did something wrong there:

 

Should send me for every event that starts time is equal or greater than 08:00 and end time is equal or less than 18:00 of tomorrow.

I even tried to put the future time that compares to the end far away like a week and still only get like 3 events from more than 25 that should be there.

One issue I've bumped into with dates, is that if the number of ticks is too large, Flow/PA gets weird.

Take a look at this article which suggests dividing the number by a constant to make the number more manageable.

Not certain if that's the cause of your issue, but let's start there.

Good article, thanks. Just divided de ticks but still. I put the range of time of a week and only have the same 3 events. do start and end take their dates from the hole event if it's a recurrence event?

The flow could only check the first time of the recurrence event and there is no any way to check the recurrence event except the first time.

Is weird that PowerApps for example do take all the events when using the same start value of the event and shows them correctly as you can see here:

calendar screenitems values of that galerry using the start statement of the calendar events.
