Hello Mike, Thank you for your response.

I am going to attach a picture of a microsoft quiz. It allows you to put test questions with the correct answer marked for semi automatic graded test results (you have to click post scores to get that information into excel database) for every form you have created. My case 50.

JohnH70_5-1696774083129.png

It is a very nice feature of microsoft forms and can see it being used in variety of ways. If you click post scores it will download into a spreadsheet with results of each question and a total score.

As most places I can access the questions anytime by going to the quiz itself and open that file. What i am trying to do is automate this function for badge# & score to a spreadsheet to show training is complete and they passed to operate a certain piece of equipment safely.  Currently i download the excel file, copy and paste this information into a data dump sheet in excel to produce a training matrix to whom is completed the quiz for each work center. Surely there is a way to get the total points, badge# into this spreadsheet automatically without all the copy and paste since all this info is already on the quiz. Hence what i started in the current flow, but i have it putting the information into a sharepoint list currently in the flow.

as you can see it didn't bring in the last score because this was written with an automated flow and i cant click post score prior for the excel file to import the total score. i could do a manual trigger post score then manually run the flow. but doesn't that defeat the purpose of automation? And i could live with the manual method as it better than copy & pasting all this information with 50 plus quizzes weekly.

I have read past posts from 2020-2021 in this community on this very issue and surely it has been corrected by now and a way to access this information or even by writing an expression to capture the score by now?  After all it is a quiz and the main function of any quiz is retention and if the individual passed or failed correct?

JohnH70_2-1696772555459.png

All the quizzes have all the information i need for each employee and can be exported to SharePoint or excel. But to be honest I Don't even need all the information captured as much as I need the badge# and score I can use excel or SharePoint to VLOOKUP the rest of the information.

Anyways i hope this gives a better picture of what i am trying to achieve and look forward to any solutions one may have for this issue. As i least have a work around currently working but it wont show me the last persons test score until the next person submits a quiz and i have to manually do that.

Hi @JohnH70

Hello there. Let's pretend I am a complete idiot.

Can you please share what you are talking about? What Quiz? What points? What total?

I SEE your flow, thats great, but i have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to your responses.

Are you referring to the total points from the Form you created as a Quiz? How do you validate the answers to even give points?

I would assume you would first go through the Details, check the answers they gave against what the answers really are, and then add points as you go along?

Cheers
