Get Rows now List Rows no longer allows copying from Excel Table to Table

Hello Community,

I am attempting to copy the rows from one excel table into another. I used to get table rows and then add a table row. Now there is only the option to "List Table Rows". After listing the table rows, I cannot correctly add the information to the new table columns. From my tests I can see that the action "List Table Rows" does correctly receive and output all table rows, however, I cannot call any of the columns as dynamic content. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @apaulso9 ,

I think this still works pretty well.  Please review the following sample:  Here i have List rows present in a table from file 1 and then I want to copy those rows into File 2

In this case, these tables are identical but essentially when you add the first dynamic content from List rows, your add a row in a table action will automatically wrap itself in an apply to each so it will loop through all your rows in List row (file 1).  In this example, I am adding the Name and Surname from File1 to File 2.

If you are struggling to see dynamic content and availability, step one is to confirm your data lives in a table in both sheets.

@trice602 I am afraid my issue is that "List Rows" does not show up in dynamic content. I don't know if it matters but my table from "List Rows" is not identical to the one I am pasting into. I want to take some of the columns and bring them over to the new table. Here is what it looks like:

The dynamic content goes back to the last action before "List Rows". Is there a way to write the expression for the column names from "List Rows" in expression builder?

Hi @apaulso9 ,

You can also type in the column names in the search box, sometimes everything doesn't automatically appear.  What are you using Get Tables for?  If you are duplicating what I have above, there are two actions.

I do not need to use get tables I was just trying something new. Can I write the column name in as a string? Thank you for your help!

So, it looks like you are creating this table upstream and maybe why it is not showing???  Try to type in the expression then (in my example for a column Name):

items('Apply_to_each')?['Name']
