Get information for next line of Array

Hi,

I have this array:

[
  "Your Email Address:",
  "test@test.com",
  "Number:",
  "45",
  "City:",
  "Melbourne",
  "Date:",
  "14 Jan 2023",
  "Type:",
  "Placement",
  "Select Indication:",
  "Other",
]

This array is not always in that order and has extra information I do not need but there are constants;

The information I need is always the next line after the field.

Example; If I want the email, "Your Email Address:" is always going to be before the data I want which is "test@test.com"

Another example; The name of the city will always be the next line after "City:".

What would be the formula to output the next line after the  "Your Email Address:", etc?

I'll be able to figure out the rest once I can get my head around this.

Thank you in advance!

Hey @elikls

I would suggest you to use Parse Json action for this. Giving you a video link below to understand more about it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0dzMqoJGtY

Hi,

Thanks for that - I followed on with the video but and used:

{
    "type": "array",
    "items": {
        "type": "string"
    }
}

but that didn't do anything. So I am not sure how to continue

Welcome to my web site.

Hi @elikls ,

I have a test for your reference, in my scenario I get the next row of "Date" of the array.

Hi @v-dezhili-msft,

don't you think that 'Initialize variable' is useless here?

Welcome to my web site.

@elikls Just wondering how you get this data as it looks unusual having properties and values as single items in an array. Is it the result of extracting the data from somewhere?

Thank you everyone - I will check out the solutions tomorrow at work.

As for the data it’s from an email I get forwarded to me from Formstack 🙂 I turn it into an array so it’s easier make automations

Hi @elikls,

did you see this: https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/details/shared_formstackforms/formstack-forms/ ?

Welcome to my web site.

I have, sadly I don’t own the form. I am just a user who fills it out and gets an email back with the confirmation of what I filled in

@elikls Are you able to show the raw data you receive before you convert it to an array? It might be that we can convert it to a proper object with key/value pairs rather than just an array of items.
