Getting unknown error "e is undefined" after adding ODATA filter

Hi Team,

I'm building a flow which send outlook calendar even using the Sharepoint list items.

In my sharepoint list, i'm having a column called N106 and flow should take only those which is NOT having word "SYNC" (N106 not equal to "SYNC")

In my Get Items action, I wrote the filter query as N106 ne "SYNC". without this flow works but takes all the rows.

When I run with the query it gives me a error "e is undefined".

I cannot find a solution to this. Please refer attached screenshots for the Get Items action configuration and also the list.

Appreciate your kind help.

Dhanushka

Hi!

IS your column N106 of type 'Single line of text'? Choice? Lookup? other?

Maybe a hidden space on your Sharepoint column?

Maybe Sharepoint internal column name differs from N106?

My suggestion is the following:

REmove temporarily your ODATA filter.

Add (also temporarily) a 'Filter array action block, assigning 'Get items' output as its input

Implement as its condition the one you currently have in your ODATA.

So on the left side of the condition rule, select from 'Dynamic content' menu column N106

If column is choice, you need to select N106 Value

Operator contains

On the right side of the condition rule, add text SYNC

Please let us know if this temporary workaround works; please hover your mouse also over left side of your condition rules an share the name displayed, if differs from N106  (meaning internal Sharepoint Column name differs)

Thanx!

Hi again!

Let me see I understood properly... you hover the mouse over the dynamic content and verified the column internal name is the following?

ODAT_FF_106

If so, try again with the ODATA Filter, just replace column name from your previous flow version, use this internal name instead

ODAT_FF_106 ne 'SYNC'

Does this new ODATA expression work as expected? THen you can get rid of the Filter Array

THanx!

Hello @Dhanushka_Aus

Is your filter query expression really N106 ne "SYNC"? If it is, please replace " with ' (single quotes).

Do you get the error only when you run the flow as a test? I had the same issue once in a while and I just ignored it, as the flow did run, just the UI did not show that 🙂

Kind regards, John

Hi @JohnAageAnderse ,

No my query is N106 ne 'SYNC'. Sorry for incorrectly putting it in the question.

My flow is currently not running due to this issue and I'm confused what the issue is, as this makes no sense. 😞

THanks

Dhanushka

Hi @efialttes,

Thank you very much for this solution. Actually once I used your solution it started to filter the required, but when I went in to my next step which was the mail sending it got stuck again.

Following your solution what I did was ;

I took in the "Condition" control and if "SYNC" is Not equal to N106, it was lead to required action.

For the moment that workaround worked. 🙂🙂

As you said the actual column name was ODAT_FF_106 for the N106 (which is the display name). Is it having a problem when I create a ODATA query?

Thank again for your help.

Thanks

Dhanushka
