How can I reply an e-mail with guid()?

Hello. I have a power automate flow that works the way it is but I want to add an extra step that is not working. It is set up this way: 

And the Title has the expression below:

concat(triggerOutputs()?['body/subject'],' UID: {', slice(guid(),24),'}')

So, when I flag an e-mail, it creates a task in a specific plan and bucket and concatenates the last part of the string 'guid()' so I can refer back to it if/when necessary. What I would like to add as a third step is to reply the flagged email only to me with the output generated by the "slice(guid(),24)" portion of the code. Example below: I flag an e-mail with the subject "Do the homework" A task is created in Planner with the title "Do the homework UID: {4bd053017876}" A reply is sent to the flagged e-mail with 4bd053017876.

I believe it can be done, but I just started playing with it and I'm somewhat confused by what should I use. Thanks in advance for now

Hi @tiagomelo,

Do you want to reply and add the GUID in the subject? You can use a reply to email (v3) action for that. If you want to update the existing message you can use an update message method of the Graph API.

Below is an example for the update message.

I have added the GUID in a string variable, makes reusing it a bit easier.

1. Add a Initialize Variable and use the expression below

slice(guid(),24)

2. Change the concat expression in the Create a Task to the below

concat(triggerOutputs()?['body/subject'],' UID: {', variables('Guid'),'}')

3. Add a Send an HTTP request (Office 365 Outlook connector) and use the message ID of the trigger your concat with subject and the GUID variable

4. To make sure that the flow doesn't trigger again and ends up in an endless loop I have added a trigger condition as well. This expression is used to check if the UID: isn't already applied to the flagged e-mail message. The flow only triggers when the subject does not contain the string value UID:
