I am modified status column and I ran the below flow logic and I set the trigger condition too but I am not sure why the below flow is sending email infinitely that is every 1 min.

Hi @Veblitz ,

You Don't have need to create Two Automated Flow Simply you can add another condition in Condition Action after that you are good to go.

If You want to Test your Automated Flow Simply you can Use Automated option, it's work even if you select failed history.

After doing this I guess you are good to go.

Best Regards.

Hi @Veblitz ,

Please Confirm Is any other Flow preset in your System Which trigger After modified staff List

Also Check any Schedule Flow present that run every one minute and update Staff list.

In my staff list I am updating the item for another field where sRroster value is active also i am performing some updation in different flow for that get properties action as per below flow this is also in the same staff list but

staff assignment date is automatically updated by below flow

Note: when item modified for some other column but in staff list

Hi @Veblitz,

if any other flow Which Update another Column of staff List and that row status column is Already set Approve Then Your Send Mail Flow Will Also Trigger That's Why You Have Continuously Arrive Mail. You can prevent this to add one more trigger condition in send mail flow.

Sorry, I am not understanding this fix  "add0 one more trigger condition in send mail flow." where this should be added in the send email flows

DO we have any specific trigger to be added ?

i altered my existing email flow as below but then flow seems to be struck

so in send email i have added another trigger condition for that column but this flow seems not to be trigger but so far its not completed the operations

Hi @Veblitz,

Don't use manual testing for send email flow Because This is automated flow, I think that would be reason for stucked your flow.

Brilliant troubleshooting and great resolution in overall point of the issue hence marking the previous reply as solution accepted and working fine.

Thanks a ton 😎

@Veblitz

Thank you so much, you can share with me any Problem feel too free.

I tested finally with different status values in email flow when i approved it triggers email and when i modify reject for any other items its triggering email for approval as well also for the same status value when approved  i am triggering email and different flow  when status is rejected then it trigger email notification for rejection

Sure,This is automated flow so i would take care of your inputs of not triggering flow manually.

Below issue seems to be different to our old one but chain of issues I am facing currently

however in my another flow status value for rejected condition logic for rejection I modified the above steps but if I set status value modified is Rejected or true  in our condition step then I am also getting 2 emails one approval for some other item and rejection for current rejected item.

Though I'm not getting infinite emails like before but my issue is I need email if I change status as approved then approved email only should trigger and say if I choose the status as rejected then only rejected email should trigger so in my case I'm getting two emails whenever I modify single status

Hi @Veblitz ,

If You have More, then two option in status field then you can use Switch Control in Yes Side of Condition Action.

Many thanks.

I tried the above steps and i got two emails approve and reject so lets say i modified only approve i get 2 mails approval trigger email and another email reject for the same item

complete flow

ALso i am editing using powerapps edit form for status modifications so when i edit the canvas app and modify status as approved so in that context my above flow ran and it trigger two email approval notifcation and rejected notifications

Hi @Veblitz,

Please Confirm the Another Flow of send email when select reject Which you create firstly it should be Disabled That

Time. and please show me output of condition Action.

Brilliant troubleshooting and thorough fix for the chaining issues associated to this flow.

I greatly appreciate and this fix for these sort of  chaining issue is quite appreciable also with quick turnaround time .

Thanks a lot again 😎
