Issue when using Power Automate to add users to D365 F&O

Hi all, 

First post here!

We are in the early stages of implementing D365 F&O so excuse my ignorance to the system. We use power automate across the business for various things and I am exploring whats possible with F&O. For starters, I am trying to add new users on submission of a form, using the 'Create Record' function in PA and pointing to the SystemUser entity. But when I run the flow, I get the error:

"An error has occurred. Write failed for table row of type 'SystemUserEntity'. Infolog: Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object..

I've tried various variations of names etc but to no success and note that the user is part of active directory and typically added into F&O via the import user function.

Hi @BHuggins,

Which fields are you using in the create record? Might be worth double check which are required and which ones need specific type of values.

I would suggest to have a look at the manually add a new user article. That one highlights the type of values which are required/can be used and how they should look like (like ID, provider, email, company)

I realise now that the screenshot didn't attach to my original post, but here is the step in the flow:

So I am including the instance, the user ID (i.e. Active directory email address), the provider (as outlined in the link you provided) and below the screenshot, the company ID - so seem to be satisfying the minimum requirements?
