MS Form Approval Sharepoint Group

Hi

I have the responses of an MS form saved into a SharePoint group folder.

Once the Form is submitted it starts an approval process with Power Automate.

I am trying to share the file with the people who need to approve the file

Any ideas on how I can achieve this?

Hey @Stephen_Garvey . 

You can use an action called "Start and Wait for approval for it". According to your requirement you can decide which one to choose. 

Before this you can do 2 things. Either add a new column called status with choice type. Keep pending as default value and accept and reject as other options. 

Or you can go to the gear/settings icon above. Then click on list settings. Then go to versioning settings. And click yes option on require content approval for submitted items. 

Then assign the approval to the people you want to.

And when they approve or reject it, just change the value of that column by update items action.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. My question is with sharing the file that has been uploaded via Microsoft Forms. I understand the approval process and how that works but its sharing the file within that is my problem.

Hey @Stephen_Garvey 

Sorry, I don't remember how I missed that. Haha.

For this, when you are sending approval in the same mail you can send the link with Item Link, or there is one attachment part in approvals, in that just pass the file content, if you don't want to share the link of the item.
