Power Automate and Sharepoint Online

Good day all,

I created a library and added several folders in it (Sharepoint Online). Whenever a document has been uploaded or edited, I would like to receive an email with a button/link to that document.
But this email needs to be just like the one Microsoft sends when you share a document with someone.

The thing is that we make use of Adobe Document Cloud.

So opening the link, the pdf needs to open with Adobe Document Cloud.

As of this far, I could only manage to get the document link as in "https://[tenant].sharepoint.com/sites/testsite/testlibrary/doc.pdf"

This link opens in the browser, but not in Adobe Document Cloud.
So if anyone here managed to get this working, please let me know.

Hi @ruben_tjok 

From within your  SharePoint file explorer, select a PDF. From the top menu, choose Open > Open in Adobe Document Cloud. Next time when you open the PDF it should automatically open the file in Adobe Document cloub. Basically you are changing the default file open settings of PDF from SharePoint to Adobe Document Cloud.

Thank you @abm , but this would only apply on a pc. We're also using iPad's, where it also opens in the browser as to view. I would like to have it as in the picture below. Is there maybe a flow/template to auto share the uploaded document? That would make it easier. But keeping in mind to have a button with link to that document.

@abm , when adding a document (PDF) to the library, you can manually share that document with someone. When doing so, you get the email as in picture with a link of that document you shared. This link is different than what you get from Power Automate.

This below is the link when sharing: "https://tenant.sharepoint.com/:b:/s/sites/test/EarXGIDrYMJJuUDZey-bKggB1FyHO-G2L9__hPqsH3y-Jg?e=a6aW..."

The link I get from Power Automate is: "https://[tenant].sharepoint.com/sites/testsite/testlibrary/doc.pdf" and this opens in browser as view only.

The link from sharing is the one I need. Is there a way I can get the same mail template from picture? (Mail when sharing)

Thanks for your explanation. Could you try using grand access to an item or folder flow step (SharePoint) or use an http flow action for share. That might do the trick.

See below. There is a flow step available. I haven't tried this personally.

If the above doesn't work then try HTTP REST API call for SharePoint share.

I went in and searched for "share" template and found this in picture.

I've tested it and it works!

The only thing left is to put a button with this generated link in the mail body.

Thanks for the update. You could use HTML (<A href>) tag to generate this in your email.
