Hi Guys,
I have a flow that takes responses from Microsoft Forms into a Sharepoint List and it works well as you can see by the items that are created in Sharepoint:
In that Sharepoint list I have also added a Status choice column:
For a few days now I have been trying to create a flow where, each person who sumbitted a form through Microsoft forms receives an email notification when the status column changes e.g the "Not assigned" status (which is assigned automatically through the flow) changes to "In Progress". I want it to be dynamic by taking the email of the person who submitted the response to the form.
I have tried something like this but it doesnt work:
Could anyone please help?

@MrKevin Your condition is returning false which is why your email isn't being sent. You need to troubleshoot the reason your condition is returning false since you are expecting it to return true.
In the first section of my YT Tutorial: 5 Power Automate Troubleshooting FAQs and Helpful Tips for Creating Better Flows I cover how to troubleshoot a false condition. You can do this by using a Compose action to verify the output of any dynamic content used in your Condition action before you run your condition.
You've included the Has Column ____ Changed dynamic content in your condition. You're checking to see if that value (of the dynamic content) is equal to In Progress. This condition will always return false.
This is because the Has Column ____ Changed dynamic content will always return a true or false value. If you input that into a Compose action above your Condition action in your flow and run a test... you will see the result of the dynamic content is true or false. Not the value of the column.
Instead, you need to adjust your condition action to check if the column has changed and if the value is equal to In Progress.
The Get user Profile action is not necessary in your flow as you are using it to return the email address. Instead, use the Email dynamic content in your Send an Email (V2) action. You only need this condition if you need to look up additional for a user and use the dynamic content from this action in the Send an Email (V2) action. It doesn't look like you are based on your screenshot.
Hope this helps!

@MrKevin It would appear as if your Condition is set up incorrectly. I would recommend adding a Compose action before your Condition action to store the dynamic content you are using in your Condition to verify the output is what you expect. This is especially important if you are using the is equal to operator. I cannot tell what your condition is by the screenshot you shared. I cover how to troubleshoot a Condition action in this recent YT Tutorial: 5 Power Automate Troubleshooting FAQs and Helpful Tips for Creating Better Flows
In this tutorial I cover:
✅ How to troubleshoot a false Condition action result
✅ How to get dynamic content when it isn’t selectable from the list of dynamic content
✅ How to troubleshoot an Apply to Each action that isn’t looping through
✅ How to troubleshoot a skipped Apply to Each action
✅ How to troubleshoot a Filter Query
✅ How to use a SharePoint yes/no column in a Filter Query
✅ How to use Compose actions to troubleshoot a Power Automate flow
✅ How to troubleshoot multiple emails being sent
✅ How to troubleshoot multiple Teams messages being sent

@creativeopinion thanks for the response, I'm not quite sure what you mean with this statement but if it could be of any help here is the whole flow with all the steps:
Maybe this will give you a better idea on what I'm trying to accomplish.

Thanks!
I looked around and it worked, since the Status column was a choice column, I had to select the Status Value dynamic content to retrieve the values of that Column. I went ahead and also applied your tweaks and it works. I now receive the notifications through email dynamically.
