Pulling the contents of an Azure Devops picklist from SharePoint List

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to build a flow that is triggered every time a SharePoint list is modified will take those values and update a picklist in an Azure DevOps work item through an HTTPS request. I'm having issues handling those values for the list into the HTTPS request.

A picklist like this one:

So I trigger with When an item is created or modified, afterwards I use the 'Get Items' action and get the raw data of the list.

Gives an output like this, where all the instances 'Title' are the new values for the picklist:

Those values should be integrated in an HTTPS request body, in order to update the picklist values, like this:

My gap is I don't know how to arrange/manage the values from the SP list. They can be added, modified or deleted, so it's not a static number of items, and might be different every activation, any ideas would be most valuable on how to handle those values to the body of the request.

I just wanted to update the post. I was successful this was my method in case anyone has the same question.

1. User modifies SharePoint list to add/modify/remove any value, in this case the 3rd row was edited.

Automation is triggered with When an item is created or modified (there's also a second auto with When a item is deleted) and then a Get Items action.

Next, 2 variables are initialized 'jsonObject' (Object) and 'items' (array, initialized as an empty array []).

Then, iterate through the results of the Get Items action and append to the 'items' variable like this (here 'Title' is the column where the values from the SP list live😞

This should output an array with all the values in 'Title'.

Set the variable 'jsonObject' with the correct Body (Lists - Update - REST API (Azure DevOps Work Item Tracking Process Definitions) | Microsoft Learn) and in the 'Items' part, place the outputs of the 'items' variable. Then open a 'Compose' action and set it to the 'jsonObject' output.

The 'Compose' action outputs the full Json file for the HTTP Request.

Changes should be visible in your targeted picklist.
