Receiving webhooks from Active Campaign

Active Campaigns has a feature to send webhooks in Automations to an outside service containing basic contact information.

I would like to receive and interprete the webhook in Flow. I'm pretty sure I am supposed to the "When HTTP request is received" trigger.

However, this action requires the json schema. I have tried using the "Use sample payload" but it hasn't worked yet. The trigger receives the webhook, but doesn't seem to interprete it correctly.

Anyone have success receiving Active Campaign webhooks? Any ideas how I can find or create the correct json schema. Haven't found anything online.

Using a webhook.site, I get the follwing form payload. (I think I am using the right terms)

contact{"id":"11326","email":"testtest@gmail.com","first_name":"testtest","last_name":"name","phone":"99999999","orgname":"","tags":"Engaged, src_DM, PL5D","ip4":"xx.xx.xx.xx","fields":{"interested":"LLL","mysubscribe":"||Subscribe to newsletter||"}}
seriesid93

or this raw data:

contact%5Bid%5D=11326&contact%5Bemail%5D=testtest%40gmail.com&contact%5Bfirst_name%5D=testtest&contact%5Blast_name%5D=name&contact%5Bphone%5D=99999999&contact%5Borgname%5D=&contact%5Btags%5D=Engaged%2C+src_DM%2C+PL5D&contact%5Bip4%5D=xx.xx.xx.xx&contact%5Bfields%5D%5Binterested%5D=LLLL&contact%5Bfields%5D%5Bmysubscribe%5D=%7C%7CSubscribe+to+newsletter%7C%7C&seriesid=93

I think I have a working schema below. But from here I can't figure out what steps I have to take after the first action. I tried using the dynamic content from the "When a HTTP request is received, but everything is blank.

I saw one post saying to I have to run a Parse json schema. How do grab the response from previous action.

Also, this schema seems like it could use a little cleaning up.

So I need to include:

Content-Type: application/json

I tried but always got an error. Sorry in advance if some of this is very basic, all very new to me.

Hi,

Can you provide some screenshots about your flow?
I want to know what kind of error you are experiencing, can you provide an error message?
I noticed that the form payload in your first post is not the correct json schema. Is this webhook content?

In the first post, that was the payload I received using the site webhook.site to test the webhook. The site shows you the data in 2 format, 'form' and raw.

I am not receiving any errors. The json is just not being parsed correctly for the next step. When I test the results in the following step, the dynamamic content is all blank.

Anyone?

Hi,

I don't know if you solved this from 2018 but this could help other users.

When you create your schema you need to click the link right below that input box to use sample payload to generate schema.

Then it will parse out your schema by identifying the fields and assigning them as string, int, etc... with columns and everything.

It appears you just pasted the payload into the box which does not generate the schema.

I had run into this issue when I first parsed a JSON data, there is no isntruction about it, but that's how you do it you have to use the link to generate the schema.
