Can anyone help me with a flow I have set up to send a daily summary email.
I want to check if a choice column has changed today and if so, send the email at the end of the day. My trigger is a Recurrence trigger followed by a "Get Items" function. The "Get Items" function will return full records that have been modified today but I only need the items where the choice column has been modified. Any suggestions on the choice column?

@Thaone2 your flow won't work because it still has 2 triggers. I think you will need 2 flows for this:
1) a flow with the when an item or a file is modified trigger followed by the get changes for an item or a file action. Next add a condition that checks if it's your choice column value that has changed - make sure you select Column Value not just the column as it is a choice column.. Leave the red if no channel empty. In the green if yes channel add a SharePoint update item action that adds today's date, utcNow(), into a datetime column called Alert (or whatever you want to call it).
2) Create a second flow with the recurrence schedule set to 1 day as the trigger. Add a Compose action and enter the expression below making sure you use the yyyy-MM-dd as that format is needed for date comparisons:
Next, add the get items action and in the filter query enter Alert ge 'select your Compose here' and make sure the selected compose is inside single quotes.
Then you can add the other actions to create an html, send an email etc.

You can use the action Get changes for an item to check if your choice column was modified.

You can do this right after the get items in an apply to each loop.

Thanks for the reply. That is actually how I had the original flow set up but unfortunately it would stop when it reached the “When an item or file is modified” trigger. Apparently, you can't have two triggers built in and because I am running the "Recurrence Trigger" at the beginning of the flow to send an email once daily to the users who have updated the choice column the “When an item or file is modified” trigger isn't working properly. Any other suggestions?
You can skip the part with the Trigger an start right away with
You don’t need the When an Item changed trigger in the Get changes for an item action. You can try working with the ID from your Get Items action.
Info: Version history has to be enabled, like mentioned in the blog.
Thanks again @GeorgiosG . I took the “When an item or file is modified” trigger and went straight to the "Get changes for an item or a file" action. I also confirmed verion history is enabled but the flow still fails. Please see my flow and the error I continue to encounter below. My apologies as I am a still learning.
Do you have versioning enabled for TestList1 ?

Thanks @RobElliott . This solution worked perfectly. The flows are running and firing the email at the scheduled times. I appreciate the detailed breakdown as it helped me achieve exactly what I was going for.

I'm applying the steps you listed above since I'm trying to implement something similar. I have both flows created(parent flow-step 1, child flow-step 2) but I'm having trouble calling the child flow because it looks like I need to have the trigger be manual but I want mine to be scheduled. Any suggestions as to how I can fix that?
