Replacing a person column in a sharepoint list to empty/null without HTTP

Hey All,

I've done some research and most of the posts I have seen are older: Such as this: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Power-Automate/how-to-clear-a-person/m-p/1322461#M80045 

I ideally want to make my flow clear out (unselect) a person in a person column in a sharepoint list. I can have flow code/logic that can dynamically identify what ID to use to filter out the specific row/record, and I want to unselect the person column/value.

I want to avoid HTTP for security and stability reasons unless there is a way to use HTTPS.

I wanted to check if there was any kind of update where I can accomplish removing (replacing with a null) a person in a person column in sharepoint using power automate.

Actually, it's https rather than http. We can check it in peek code.

That's awesome! I had always assumed that HTTP was literally HTTP going on port 80 with no encryption. 

Do you happen to know if all the power automate HTTP calls (not 3rd party) follow this? This is huge, thank you.

Do you also happen to know if this is still the best way to unselect a people column in sharepoint based on flow? It appears this is still a good solution based on my own research, but I am unfamiliar with people columns specifically, I generally prefer to use just strings.

At my knowledge, they all use HTTPS(graph api, sharepoint api, dataverse api...)

The method you provide is a mainstream approach.
