Run a child flow when import flow to another environment

Hello, Expert.

I am creating a flow that will trigger a child flow using "Run a child flow" action. both of these flow need to be imported to another environment (for example, UAT / production), I will put all parent and child flow in same solution.

My question is after the solution was imported to another environment, will the parent and child flow still linked together since as I know the flow id will be changed when imported to another environement.

Thats a very good question! Please @microsoft respond to this because its not described as a known limitation afaik.

My experience is that the parent flow in a new environment triggers the child flow in the "source" enviroment and that they are not coupled.

It will work , if not try to use Enviroment variables .

Can you elaborate how env variables can help here? what type of env var? what should be stored there?

generally if any CRM links specific to Env , in that case we use it . 

Generaly in the case for @VeGETzX flow id will not affect

Hello everyone, Sorry for lately respond.

I have tested about this case. Here is a solution if you want to deploy both child flow & parent flow to another environment. There is nothing special

1. Make sure your child flow use "When a HTTP request received" as a trigger and your flow include Response action
2. In the parent flow, use Run a child flow action and then select your child flow.
3. Put both parent and all child flow in a Solutions
4. Export & Import Solutions to target environment.

All done. Your parent & child flow are still connected when its deployed to another environment.

Thank you for the info. My child flow uses Power apps v2 trigger. So this won't function as expected when exported to another environment?
