SOLUTION: Create Excel Table - Resource Not Found 404 Error / OneDrive Error (bug?)

I wanted to share this solution we came up with after seeing a few discussions on an error that others commented.   A bit long winded but wanted to run through explanation of the seemingly unsolved 404 error when dealing with Excel Create A table in OneDrive.      Some solutions were based on using the dynamic ID but one comment was the same issue we had - error was only when other users tried to run the flow.   I did not see any resolution so here goes...

We are creating an Excel file in OneDrive, then using a Sharepoint Excel template to generate the table in the OneDrive file to build the solution from a PowerApps trigger.   The process works fine as the owner of the flow - I have no troubles.  The issue is when a co-worker ran the flow.     OneDrive itself was not a problem as the user saw the initial file being generated, however, the issue we found was when the Create A Table command was trying to run.     File Not Found error in the users OneDrive.

I then discovered that the parameters were not quite right.   The DRIVE should point to the users location (from the drop-down selection option of "One Drive for Business" and Library as "One Drive".    The Output shows that the DRIVE and FILE are not synchronized comparing the DRIVE and the {DRIVE}.{filename}.    In the case of my users 404 error,  the drive was still pointing to "my" drive (the system owner) while the file connectors OneDrive reference pointed to the users drive (starting with b!IMJJ and b!q36...)

The parameters of "Create File 2"  (create file in onedrive) does not give you this path directly, however the system ID is the same output as the File Location  {drive}.{file}.

Our work-around was to use an expression in the Create Table, (Document Library)- where we split the output of the Create A File to generate the users OneDrive Location.   This successfully solved the 404 error when a user tried to run a flow!

Created a Compose (Finding the Users OneDrive) where we take the first of the split.

first(split(outputs('Create_file_2')?['body/Id'],'.'))

The Outputs of this compose becomes the custom Library entry...

The result...   matching library and file locations!   no more 404 error

Not sure if it's a bug... but it works...   hope it helps!
