Save email attachment with flow and store data in a sharepoint list

I have the following case, which I would like to automate:

I get an email with an Excel list in the appendix which is called Test,
now I want to save from the Excel list the data per row as a single entry in a sharepoint list.

Attempt at implementation:
I create a flow that controls the mail intake,
and saves the Excel list in SharePoint when it is called Test. -->Works

Now I read the saved Excel list in a further step, save the temporarily as a table,
and make individual entries out of them. --> Works

If I repeat the whole thing but after one minute I get the error message,
that the file is already open by me and cannot be changed. --> Flow fails

If I now add a timestamp to the file in the name, e.B. Test-2020-12-07-22-00,
then I can save it, but he can't find the list anymore,
because I can't include a variable in the "List rows in table" step under File.

Do you have an idea how to get it?

same issue:

When I then open the saved file, the error comes immediately: The file "xxxx" cannot be opened by Excel because the file format or the file extension is invalid. Check whether the file is damaged and whether the file extension corresponds to the file format. "

okay, i am not sure why something that worked before for you, has stopped working now. Can you create another flow which users email trigger and save file to onedrive and see if that works.

I have other flows where I store files and they work without any problems. The Excel list is also saved in this flow, only with an error.

Okay, I found the bug. I just saved the xlsm file as an xlsx file without removing the VBA code. After I remove the code. But now the following error occurs:

"The resource you are attempting to access is locked"

So it now works with normal xlsx files. But as soon as an xlsm file arrives, it cannot process it. Can I still import them somehow?

Hello @dv1407 , the Power Automate Excel connections only with xlsx and xls files, it doesn't support xlsm files.

There are some work arounds suggested in other posts you can try those out
