Hello together,
I am very new to program Flows in Power Automate. I would like to split one cell when information is seperated by an comma.
I would also like to have the shared information displayed one below the other in a kind of table.
I am very grateful for any help.
Please see my Flow and the Sharepoint table here:
It would
be nice if the batch and the article no. are in the same line:
Example:
5222222 B99999999
522222389 B125656599
Solved! Go to Solution.
Using the following SharePoint list item as an example:
We can generate a HTML table and send the following email:
This is the demo flow:
(1) Split actions: split at the comma ','
You will need to use the correct SharePoint internal column names for the Artikel and Batch columns.
See: What is SharePoint column internal name and where to find it
The split actions produce the following arrays
(2) Using the Select action we can select the matching Artikel and Batch numbers.
The range function is used to loop through each item of the array, start from 0 until the length or end of the array:
The Select action produces an array as its output which looks like this:
(3) Create the HTML Table: using the output from the Select action above
(4) Send Mail - add the output of the Create HTML table action:
Example email sent using the above flow:

@ekarim2020 Is it possible that you can help me on this topic? Many thanks in advance!!!
Are you trying to do something like this:
but where the "joined" text is sent in a email, formatted as a table?
ELlis
Hey Ellis,
thank you for your answer.
No, I have a Sharepointlist with fields Batch and Article number in which several characters are entered. (Batch and Article number are a column type of: multiple lines of text)
In this line there is a specific batch for each article number, which is separated by a comma in the field:
Example for your list in the column batch for one line:
Chuck 306,
Chuck 307,
Chuck 308
And in the column Article number:
8100,
6434,
8230
Now I want that Power Automate recognize the commas and write an Email the batch in the next line where the correct article number is assigned:
So on the EMail I would like a table which looks like this:
Artikle number | Batch |
8100 | Chuck 306 |
6434 | Chuck 307 |
8230 | Chuck 308 |
I think I have to use a Split Function to generate a HTML table. Can you please help me?
Thanks
Tobias
