Split Producing wrong output, but raw output is correct

Hi, another day trying to solve what seems so simple!

Splitting  by the delimiter "~" produces what I want in raw outputs, but when creating the file it's different

Original Text

PNL ~GR401/01MAY LCY PART1

Whats required

PNL

GR401/01MAY LCY PART1

So using split as deliminator to move to new line, raw output shows this has been achieved and moved to new line

 Use "Create file" for new text document with output from above (and shows that's whats is using)

But the file txt file created comes out as per below?

["PNL ","GR401/01MAY LCY PART1

Where have the additional characters come from [ " , etc and why has it not split like I the raw outputs are showing?

@richardj5 The split() function splits a string of text at a delimiter and outputs an array. You've specified to split your text at "~". This results in a space being added to the end of your first item.

"GR401/01MAY LCY PART1"

Which portion of the array do you want to use in your Create a file action? PNL or GR401/01MAY LCY PART1?

I'd recommend splitting at " ~" to avoid the space after PNL. To get the first time, wrap your split() function in a first() function. This will return PNL. To get the last time wrap your split() function in the last() function. This will return GR401/01MAY LCY PART1.

Thanks for the feedback, splitting by " ~" just resulted  in an output of GR401 and nothing else?

It actually a very long text list that I need formatted in a specific way to be read by a machine, I've actually achieved what I want using Power Automate Desktop, however due security settings beyond my control it is not possible to run this unattended, so was trying to replicate as a flow.

Incoming text is as per below (one long line of text)

Was adding the "~" to use as a deliminator where I needed it without much success
