Turn "data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KG..." From List to Image on Word Doc

I am having a lot fo trouble with getting a signature from my powerapp to go to my word document as an image. I see lot of tutorial but cant get them to line up with my flow. Ive gotten the signature to come through as "data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KG... format in my sharepoint and know that will have to be split at the comma and remove "", but nothing ive tried has gotten the image to show up in the populate word document step.

And i have tried putting this method from a turorial i saw but the error said it needed a jpg or png file. 

So i am at a loss and could really use the help. Ive been at this one problem for weeks and its holding up finishing the entire project.

You can use the base64 file content to create the variable and set it in word template.

quick question before I try this method out.

"Step 1: Get the bas64 content for the image (while uploading a file in a manual trigger, it by default is of the base64 form and so can be used directly)"

Does this step mean that the data needs to arrive in the list already split apart? right now its showing up in my list as a full string "data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KG..."

No, I share this blog to you just telling you that the base64 string can be used as file content in the variable, and then you can set the variable in Word template action to populate the image. You can replace the yellow marked value with the split expression:

It seems due to a too long base64 string. Could you please tell where are the signatures stored?

the signature information goes to the sharepoint list with all of the other data

Is it an Image column? Could you please try and use a small picture to test the flow and see if it would work?

Hi @shelvia and v-jefferni, I'm having the same problem, but I followed a video from Reza and he stores the image in a multi-text column in the list. isn't that code different than the image column type?
