Use file data inside notes (annotations) entity, in flows

Hello all,

I tried to find post on this but couldn't find. 

So let me explain what is the ask. So i have a form (on portal ) in which we are excepting excel file filled with data and the ask is to move this data from excel to dataverse entity.

now the excel is getting stored in notes (annotation) entity and i want to download that excel and import the data from there to the entity that we created via flow. 

I figured how to fetch the notes entity everytime a record is created but i am not able to use the excel file (or fetch the data that is inside the excel file). If i could fetch the data i can figure out a way to put the data in the entity.

So i have 2 questions

1st one being is this possible? If yes, how can i proceed?

2nd is there any way i can attach an import function button on the form itself so that we can directly import the excel file?

I am still facing some issues if you could please help further that would be great.

I cannot find the connector used in the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhmRhiwVCJo)

also i tried it using different connector and i am able to download the file in my one drive but it is encoded. I have been told to convert it via base64 conversion but for some reason i am not able to use it.. it is throwing me some popup error as below:

"The expression is invalid."

I am using microsoft dataverser connector to get the note entity attachment. It is a really simple flow still not able to figure out the issue

Hi @Ez_Wiz ,

To be clear, notes entity should work with other entities in which have enabled attachments:

You will be able to get the files from any table in Dataverse that notes table is associated with rather than the notes table itself. In the video, you can see getting files from the Account table and get the file content, then create new file in OneDrive.

I have used the option to attach the notes. As per your suggestion i can use the table (custom table not just the oob notes (annotation)) for which the notes is attached. My requirement here is to use the data added to the OOB feature of portal. I have not created a separate column as shown in the video as we cannot use the field property directly. saying that i am not finding any column inside my custom table which will provide me the data for notes entity, and so i have created a flow to fetch the data from notes entity itself.. i hope this is clear..

since i am able to see few videos in which they are able to decode the file but i am not somehow. is there any settings which need to be turned on for this functionality?
