When we start a new project, we copy empty folders in order that all project managers file in folders with the same names. This results in many folders which are empty. I want those empty folders to be manilla folder color and change the color when a file is added.

I started with a flow I thought would work but I get fail even though it identifies the correct folder:

Hi @stharris 

The error which you have shared in above screenshot is due to usage of wrong dynamic content in File Identifier field. It should be Folder ID instead. For that you have to use get folder meatadata to get folder details where the file is created and use its output -id in file identifier field 

Expression- 

replace(triggerOutputs()?['body/{FullPath}'],concat('/',triggerOutputs()?['body/{FilenameWithExtension}']),'')

Another way 🙂

You can hardcode the path in list files action as you are trying to list same folder which you have specfied in trigger 🙂

it failed on condition. I think concatenating the file to the folder path isn't correct.

1. API Methods:
• There are 3 methods in the API:
• StampColor: Change the color of an existing folder.
• API endpoint: _api/foldercoloring/stampcolor (DecodedUrl=‘/sites/<site_name>/<library_name>/<folder_name>’)
• Provide the path to the existing folder2.

The HTTP request needs to have the "_api ..." first, followed by the decoded url information. Which needs to be dynamic as which folder gets colored will change.

I tried doing the set up exactly like the video and I still get the same error every way I try it. With using the full path to a folder, it still shows error message:

No. It did not work for me. The only difference would be shared Documents, but that is not the document library I am working with. I am thinking that my organization is blocking the return from the SharePoint request. I asked IT but they have not gotten back to me yet.
