forms delete all responses

It would be great to have an action that when triggered deletes a response or possibly all responses. Due to GDPR having data saved both in Forms and in SharePoint (if the form data is copied into SharePoint) is not ideal and there is currently no way to automate the deletion of the responses from within Flow. I know all of the responses within a form can be deleted from within the Forms action menu so having something similiar as an action within Flow would be great.

I suppose it's possible that if tenantId and userId are omitted, it assumes the "current" tenant and user that is running the flow.  That's purely a guess though.

Hey,

Did you managed to solve the error ?
I am also receiving the same error all of a sudden which was working until yesterdat.

Cheers.

yes but depends on your config as to which way you will need to alter. My fix was to remove tenantid and userID and it worked, but it seems some environments require this.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, this workaround is not working for me.

I did double check your all your ids and i ended up deleting and made a new one, it is currently still working. for now.

Is it working still with or without tenantid and user id?

using tenantID GroupID and formID in that order

Ok. It is solved now after deleting and creating SharePoint connection again!!
Thanks.

Has anyone run into an "Unauthorized" issue (401 Error)?

MTMattManley_0-1711823256121.png

I have tried every form of the DELETE method Uri listed in this article and get the same response from all.

I am the Author of the form.

This is the body of the Flow OUTPUT:

{ "status": 401, "message": "Access token not found\r\nclientRequestId: 94172f0a-8ad9-4a47-9c4e-02fb9ea8b85e", "error": { "message": "Access token not found" }, "source": "sharepointonline-eus2.azconn-eus2-003.p.azurewebsites.net" }

Any thoughts?

For two weeks I received this failure error:

But then on Mar 31, 05:00 AM, this flow succeeded:

Hi, Did the windows password of the account where this flow is running has changed recently ?

It is good to check your SharePoint connection and fix it. It is worth creating a new connection and give it a try since the above error belongs to it.

Even if it does not solve then something might have changed at your company level wrt AD.
Let me know if it is solved or not.

I have already deleted and re-created both the Forms and SharePoint connections.  No joy.

Sorry to be dense, but what is meant by "changed at your company level wrt AD"?
Since the Flow is attempting to delete Form Results, I am assuming that the Form Results are stored in SharePoint somewhere.  If I knew where in SharePoint the Form Results were stored, I could check for permissions issues in that location.

Normally wrt error message that you received it refers to authentication. Can you go to Connections page to see you have something there to fix connection?

Also, just to double check you are pointing to the newly created connection in your flow?
Thanks.

In short, yes.  I stripped out all connections in the Flow.  This created the expected error messages within the flow.  I then re-created new connections (which resolved the errors in the flow).    No joy.

You shouldn't need to check permissions in SharePoint directly, but the account that is running the Automate must have permissions to the Form that it's trying to delete responses from.

The easiest way to ensure that is to have the Form built with the same account that's running the Automate.

Roger that.  The Form and the Flow were both created under my account.  My account is a Tenant Admin.

For the giggles of it, I used a different user account, created a new form, added the Flow to delete responses, tested it and got the same results.

I'm still using the SharePoint connector in many Automations(Flows) to delete various form responses. I have had to 'reset'/delete then create Authenticate with a new instance of a sharepoint connector twice (last 1.5yrs). As long as your account as access to SharePoint list it should work.

Copy of latest Action that still works.

@MTMattManley  Do a test by replacing your variables with the exact ID's into your Uri. Tenant, User, Form. If you have access maybe the formatting when you the variables is missing something like a quote.

Tried replacing variables with actual object id's.   No joy.
