how to send excel table into mail using flow , without using attachment ?

We can read an Excel table, select the columns to display in the table, then use the Create Table action along with some table formatting to send an email like this:

Because the rows are read / copied as CSV data, all the data formatting is what you would see in Excel as "Genral" or "Text" format. My guess is that if you want a specific format to show you'd need it to look correct in Excel when the formatting view is set to General or Text before reading using list rows in table from Power Automate.

Have you found a way to read the data and Excel formatting using Power Automate?

A alternative to do this is make your date format on Excel as ISO 8601.

 

Then on list rows click 'show advanced options' and select ISO 8601 again. Isn't a perfect mode, but works.

 

I wanna try date format to bring date as mm/dd/yy only.

This is an excellent answer to the question; laid out very clearly too. May I add a further question (I couldn't find this answer online)?

How would one enhance this in order to filter the table rows that are sent in the email; for example, if I wanted to send only the rows relating to the East Region?

Create a script on Excel Online to do this.

 

Select 'Automate' and 'Record Action'.

This worked for me to figure out my own problem - now I cannot figure out how to format the date as a date instead of a number. Any help is appreciated.

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!    This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
