number of files after 'SFTP>List Files in Folder'

HI,

First, sorry for my english, I'm french 🙂

My flow succesfully use an SFTP connexion and get the list of files in folrder.

After that  I have a  condition depending on the number of files presents in the folder.

But to know the number of files I need to use 'For each' and increment a varibale. This action is very long.

Is ther a way to knwo immediately after the 'List Files in forder' action the number of files without having to incerement a variable ?

Yes, there is a way to count the file number.

We need a Compose Action, and the length() function.

Returns the number of elements in an array or string. For example, this function returns 3:

I have the same scenario, and the same problem. In my folder there are both files and sub-folders, and I am only interested in counting the files. The proposed solution counts all elements in the array, regardless if it is a file or folder. How can I determine that it is a file and only count them?

I have tried to tamper with the constant 'IsFolder', but being a newbie in Automate, I cannot get it to work the way I want.... The constant contain the value 'true' if it is a folder, and false if it is a file. I tried to add a condition like If IsFolder equals true then increment variable by 0, else increment variable with 1. I get no errors but everytime I run it, it will not increment the variable with one, even though there are two files and one folder. 

Any help would be deeply appreciated.
