sharepoint "hyperlink column"

Hi Flow Community,

I have an issue with a flow that create an Item in List B when an Item in List A is modified. It should take every field from List A and create an Item with the same information in List B.

Everything is working exepted for the column type Hyperlink. The column stay blank even if the field is mandatory.

Are you facing this issue too?

Do you have a workaround to copy a hyperlink from List A to List B

Thanks for the feedabck. Tested and I got the same results as yours.

For the Hyperlink column type, currently it should have some issues when writing values into it, even it would appear as an available item under the SharePoint Create Item action.

For a workaround, please remove the HyperLink column type in second list which you entered in the SharePoint Create Item, then add a text column type based column under that list to hold the HyperLinks from List1.

I will collect this as an idea, to add writing support for Picture/HyperLink column type in SharePoint.

Hi @v-micsh-msft,

I found another workaround which was better for my case because the hyperlink list contain a lot of other information and it still need to be an hyperlink in my second list. I share with you my solution :

I keep the initial flow to copy the item from List A to List B (including the hyperlink) . Then I added and an additional step that send a email to "Created by email" (<--- Flow variable) with a message to copy the "Hyperlink from" (<--- Flow variable) and paste it here :

https://myCompany.sharepoint.com/teams/blablablablablaID=IDblablablablabla

The link above is the link copied from an item in the new list when I click on "Edit Item" and I just replace the ID number by the ID variable added in the Flow.

Like this the user directly get the link to copy and the link to the correct new item to edit.
