What I have done:
I have created a Power Automate flow that monitors a shared inbox. When an email comes in it will check if it has any attachments (Typically photos). If so, it saves the emails details and attachments to a sharepoint list called "Attachment Gallery"
In my Power App, I have an edit form that contains an Attachments control. I have set it to default to the newest item in the "Attachment Gallery", specifically the attachment column, if the item was created after the form was started and matches the user details (Ensures we only pick relevant attachments). This works great, even with multiple attachments in one email.
My Attachment control's Default is set to:
First(
Filter(
'Attachment Galler',
DisplayName = AgentAccount.GivenName & " " & AgentAccount.Surname
Or
'Subject Line' = "[External] & DataCardValue71.Text,
Created>= DateValue1.SelectedDate + Time(Value(HourValue1.Selected.Value), Value(MinuteValue1.Selected.Value),0)
)
).Attachments
What I am trying to do:
Sometimes we get multiple emails with attachments. I would like the control to not just take the newest item, but all items that meet the criteria. (Created after the form was started and matching user data).
However I cannot figure out how to join together the attachments fields of each record in the filtered table. If it was a string I would just concat it, but I don't know how to pull a variable number of objects (Attachment Tables) into a single object (Attachment Table)
If I try to set it to the column using ShowColumns, it will give me the column as a table, but it is a table of tables of attachments, not just a continuous Attachment table.
I also want to avoid using a variable or collection as this process is currently automatic if the email arrives, without any user action. If it is a variable solution, it would require some kind of onSelect, I believe.
Any help would be appreciated, and thank you in advance.
(Edit for clarification)
The EditForm that contains the attachment control is used to create items on a SharePoint list (ticket list) for troubleshooting tickets I am trying to streamline the process of attaching photos sent to my team to the tickets. So far I can automatically attach all photos from one email using the above code and the background flow.
What I am looking for is how to set the attachment control to default to the attachments of all records in the 'Attachment Gallery's list that meet the criteria, not just the newest.
For example:
The filtered table may have 3 records if we received 3 emails with attachments after the form was started. How do I tell the Attachment control to get all of the attachments from all 3 records rather than just the newest one.
Hi @DrKEWatson ,
I am not sure if this is what you want, but this blog of mine allows selected attachments to be emailed.
Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

@DrKEWatson So if you receive an email and this mail contains e.g. 4 attachment you would create 4 Items in "Attachment Gallery"? Each Item with one attachment? If this is not the case please provide some more details around your process.
Thank you. Unfortunately, I am not trying to email attachments, I am trying to add attachments to an item being created by a power apps form from multiple records on a SharePoint list that happens to contain photos from emails in its attachments column.
But thank you. I will refer to your post when I get to the step of putting those attachments into emails. ^-^
I added an edit to clarify.
I can handle 4 attachments in one record. The issue is that I can't pull attachments from 2 or more records. For example, if I get one record with 3 attachments and another with 2, I want it to grab all 5.
Does that make sense?
So thinking over my question, I guess it comes down to union. I need to union a table of subtables where each subtables has the same schemea. {The attachment table schemea)
Not sure yet how to do this without a collection and the collect function, but if I find it, I will reply here for posterity's sake. I think it may be related to UnGroup
