Auto Populate Input field from a SharePoint list

Hi everyone,

I will like to auto populate input fields on my form based on value selected from a combo box. All auto populated field must come from my SharePoint list based on user selected in my combo box.

Hi @codeworks 

You could use variable that fetches the records from SharePoint using Lookup formula. You could place the lookup formula in the OnSelect property of combobox. Set the variable (record type) respective property (like to set Title, use <variablename>.Title) in the Default property of the textbox control or DataCard or DataCard value whichever is being used in the app.

If it is a Choices column use Choices(columnname)

This what i have on the on change property of of my combobox

vSponsor:
LookUp(
ExecLists, StaffName.DisplayName = DataCardValue17.Selected.Value,
AnnualApprovedLimtAllocated
)
}
);

and on the default property on one the text box, i have the following code

If(
!IsBlank(vSponsor),
vSponsor,
Parent.Default
)

Still can't it working

Please modify the OnSelect formula in comobbox:

UpdateContext(
{
vSponsor:
LookUp(
ExecLists, StaffName.DisplayName = DataCardValue17.Selected.Value
)
}
);

  Modify the formula for Default on the text box as mentioned below:

If(
!IsBlank(vSponsor),
vSponsor.Title,
Parent.Default
)

in above formula, Textbox Default property is set to "Title" property of variable 'vSponsor'. Please change the property name as per your need.

Thanks!!!! After proper rearrangement of my list. this solves my problem.. Going further i want to filter two list within the update context and auto populate input field based on request type. i have the following code

on the onChange Property

    },

    vFrees: LookUp(
            'List2',
            StaffName = DataCardValue12.Selected.Value

On the Default property of the input filed, i have the code below, but i want to be able populate the input field base on each value coming from their respective list
