Hi @Nogueira1306 ,
I have to generate ID in the format Project ID(No.) starting from 1 as shown in the pic below.
Note:
1 is Opportunity ID which is auto-generating in SharePoint List.
2 is Project ID which I want to auto-generate in Power apps forms.
One Opportunity ID can have multiple Project IDs.Therefore every time a user wants to create another project under the same opportunity ID,the new Project ID should get auto-generated in the format Project ID(No.).
Please Help!
Hey! So you want generate a ID that is LastId + 1, right?
If yes, write this on default:
Last(Project_List).Project_ID + 1

I suggest using First(Sort(Project_List,IProject_ID Descending)).Project_ID+1 to avoid delegation issues if your list exceeds the maximum number of items allowed by PowerApps (normally 500, max 2k). Last() and Max() are not delegatable. First(Sort(... will accommodate any number of items in your list.
Hi @Nogueira1306 ,
This is another doubt in the same form. When I click on App project(Pic1) I am directed to a new form(Pic 2) but I am not able to see anything in Opportunity ID.
I want that when I click on Add project,in the new form the Opportunity ID should appear which is selected in the Data Table(3)
Pic 1
Pic 2
Please help!
If that ID is autoamtic from shaerpoint, it will create automatically when you create the item in Sharepoint. If not, just use the same logic that me or @Drrickryp told you

I have doubt in this formula. In the pic below
For the Project ID(2) value,I need that it should get incremented by 1 to the last Project ID for that particular Opportunity ID(1).
Note-Opportunity ID and Project ID have parent-child relationship. So,for one particular Opportunity ID,there can multiple Project ID.
Last(Opportunity List).Opportunity_ID + 1 -> For New Opportunity Id
For you to get that the project, I am assuming that you are selecting it from a gallery, so:
CountRows(Filter(Opportunity List; Opportunity_ID = Gallery1.Selected.OpportunittyId)) +1 -> For New Project Id
So, that count rows is counting how many lines you have and adds 1.

Hi @Nogueira1306 ,
I have one clarification on this.I am getting the form which I posted in the last reply by clicking on the Add Project(1) button as shown in the pic below. There is Data Table(2) also.
So,as soon as I click on Add Project(1),I go to new from screen(as shown in the pic below) where I want that the project ID(4) should be auto-generated according to the formula which you posted in the last reply for that particular Opportunity ID(3)
Therefore I am not selecting it from a Gallery.
Hi @Nogueira1306 ,
I tried implementing the below formula
CountRows(Filter(Opportunity List; Opportunity_ID = Gallery1.Selected.OpportunittyId)) +1
I am getting the following error:
Please Note:
Datatable2-its the name of the Data Table
Opportunity ID2_Column4 - Name of the Opportunity ID column in Data Table
Opportunity ID2 - Name of the Opportunity ID in the SharePoint List
Kindly provide help!
Show me what the error says.
I also hope that the ID is not auto number and you really have to write them
