Automatic Email Sent to User after 6 Months of Creation Date

Hi,

I have an application in which everyone creates Project information for a client Like this:


Every user's email is recorded who ever creates a Project Record and they enter a Project Creation Date.

I want to automatically email that User after 6 Months of Project Creation Date (which is like 184 Days after the Project Creation Date) of that user.

I am confused if the user have 2 records which record will be sent in the email... I am stuck in creating the flow.

Left Side Formula in Condition 

formatDateTime(item()?['ProjectCreationDate'], 'dd/MM/yyyy')

Right Side Formula in Condtion

formatDateTime(addDays(item()['ProjectCreationDate'], 184 ,'dd/MM/yyyy'))

Is there any mistake in the expression or Flow ?

Hey! Why dont you use a DiffDate?

DateDiff( Created, Now() )   equals    184

Something like that

The Problem is I want to send an email back to user after  6 months of project creation date.
and the user have multiple records. So, I want to email that whos 6 months are about to end  and with that record details..

My Flow is somehow not working

Okay. Then your formula might be right. I thought that the problem was the  formula.

So. If you want to know that. It will only send the items in which the diff dates is 184

So, if a user has 1 item with 6 months and other with 5, it will only send the one with 6.

But I dont think yourformula is right. Because you are adding 184 fays to the day you created the record. That will never be the same...

When I test the flow it runs but the expression is False. and hence it's not going into the Yes Block


Is there any help you can do Please? it's urgent 😞

If it is false, it wont go to yes block...

Try getting an item that you know that created + 184 is today

Actually, there is no such item

But I had inputted 1 there and Tested the flow manually. it's still showing the same.

Try with function DateDiff

Instead of utcNow(), you can try: Today() or Now()

DateDiff(Created; utcNow())             equals                  184

If you want to check the value of that DateDiff, out it in a var to check the value

Well I have created a Calculated Column of DateDifference

in Which I have Done (Today(), ProjectCreateDate) 

But, I am confused I want to email the user with the details of project whose Project Date is 6 months older or have past 184 days.

Seems like its still not working ;(
