Button to move object in front

Hi, 

I am struggling to figure out if its possible to use a button to move an object forward. 

I have 2 sliders places on top of another, this ofcourse means that i can only pull on one slider, but if i want to move the other slider, i have to move the object in front. So what i need is kind of a switch, so i am able to move/use both sliders.

Hi @Snow_89 ,

You cannot dynamically change the "layer order" of controls in an app. You can however change the Visible property  (to false) of the one you do not need. Is this what you are asking?

That would also be an option, but it is preferable to see both sliders at ones. 

Any workaround with this request in mind? 

Could build a button with a timer, so the second slider is open for editing in 10 seconds and the first slider goes back to be visible again - would this be a difficult workaround?

Yes - if you set a Variable to start the timer which is also on the Visible (!Variable) of the first one, then set the Variable to false OnTimerEnd.

I am still new to PowerApps, i have the basic understanding but i am not sure where to start

The slider does go invisible - but it does not show again after the 10 sec

Here is an image of the property settings from the timer - do you see anything wrong? 

slider has Visible set to: !varTimer

Your OnTimerEnd of 

UpdateContext({varTimer: false})

will show the button - I have set the below to 5 seconds

I have done all the above steps, but it still does not work - the counter is not starting

Could you post a picture of the properties for all 3 inputs?

If the counter is not starting your problem would be in one of these two (assuming you have not changed anything else on the timer).
