Calendar doesn't show more-than-one-day events

Good evening,

I noticed that Powerapps Calendar doesn't show events lasting more than one day. As you can see in the attached picture, I have an event from april 16 to 19. I can see the event in the calendar when I select the 16th day, but it doesn't show anything on 17th, 18th and 19th.

It's a problem with PowerApps Calendars or maybe I have something wrong in my App?

Only to add some information: in my outlook calendar outside the App I can see the event correctly, each day.

Do you mean that your calendar could only display events based on start date, but not other days?

Is the calendar that you use calendar template screen?

If so, the reason why you met this problem is this formula:

CalendarEventsGallery1's Items:

SortByColumns(Filter(MyCalendarEvents, Text(Start, DateTimeFormat.ShortDate) = Text(_dateSelected, DateTimeFormat.ShortDate)), "Start")

This only filter start field based on selected date (start is equal to selecteddate).

You just need to make a little change.

Try this formula:

SortByColumns(Filter(MyCalendarEvents, _dateSelected>=Start,_dateSelected<=End), "Start")

Then you will filter events based on selected date(start<=selecteddate<=end).

It works! But how about the subcircle? There is a way to show the little subcircle below the day number to notify that there is an event that day?

Do you want to show subcircle not only in the selected day but also the days has the same event?

If so, try to set Subcircle1's Visible:

Then, not only the selected date will have Subcircle, the dates that between start date and end date will have Subcircle too.

I have 2 calendar in my App. In one calendar I use the calendar template screen without any modification, and the other one is modificated to show date rangs.

In the first one I have this in the visible property of the subcircle:

And(DateAdd(_firstDayInView; ThisItem.Value) = _dateSelected; Title10.Visible)

In the rang calendar, I have this:

_selectedCount > 0

&& DateAdd(_firstDayInView;ThisItem.Value;Days) >= _selectionStart

&& DateAdd(_firstDayInView;ThisItem.Value;Days) <= _selectionEnd

I have changed the Title name and I've tried your text in both calendars, but it seems that doesn't do anything. Sorry, but I'm new and maybe I'm doing something wrong...

I have it, thanks! Now it works perfect in both calendars. The problem was that I wanted to show the little circle below the number not the big circle all around the number. I don't know why in my calendars the big circle is called "subcircleX" and the little circle is called "CircleX" because it doesn't have sense for me.

I know its been awhile but hopefully you can help, this is driving me nuts. I have used your code and and the event details are shown in all days except the first one. So If I have an event that covers 4 days I can click on dates 2 to 4 and see the event but not on the first day.

SortByColumns(Filter(MyCalendarEvents, _dateSelected >= Start , _dateSelected <= End), "Start")

Any assistance appreciated.

This is not working as intended:

SortByColumns(Filter(MyCalendarEvents, _dateSelected>=Start,_dateSelected<=End), "Start")

It is not going to give you the events of the whole month, only from todays date. For now, I haven't figured out why, and which is the best way to do this, but I think it is because you can't just compare date types like that.

Hello. When I use SortByColumns(Filter(MyCalendarEvents, _dateSelected>=Start,_dateSelected<=End), "Start") it only shows the long-date events, but it's not showing my current events from the day

Anyone had fixed it? Thanks
