Can't install PowerApps Studio for Windows

Hi, I'm new but hope you can help. I was invited to PowerApps preview a few days ago, I've loaded and logged onto using my O365 credentials to the PowerApps runtime app on my phone successfully, I can navigate to powerapps section of the portal online via my desktop no problem; and to this forum too. BUT...

When I try to download the 'PowerApps Studio for Windows' onto my laptop from Microsoft Store doesn't work (the get app button does nothing); after further investigation I found the following error on the aka site;

AADSTS50020: User account '***@m*****.onmicrosoft.com' from identity provider 'https://sts.windows.net/e3742f83-f869-49ad-8195-b727ac85dc8a/' does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft' and cannot access the application 'http://sxp.cloudapp.net/' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Sign out and sign in again with a different Azure Active Directory user account. 

Any ideas?

We recently rolled out an app to our global management team, and some who are still on Windows 8.1 also cannot download PowerApps. Similar as the above commnets, the request is to sign into a Microsoft account (and our organizational one does not work here). 

Of course we don't want our managers each having to create or login using a new account - has anyone found a solution to this please??

Adding to the above... 

The people who appear to be having troubles all have Windows 8.1 installed. Their experience is that they are able to install PowerApps through the store, but upon launching they are asked to update PowerApps. However when they click on the update button, they are taken to the store but without anywhere to click ‘update’ – see screenshots below?

Another thing we found is that the store wants employees to ‘sign in’ with their ‘Microsoft account’. So we have some employees who sign in with their personal account (which is not what we would want), or others may create one. It would be good to receive some clarity on this as well, e.g. could a Microsoft account be created in alignment to their organizational account?

Note that the above issue persists even if a user has signed in (with their personal account).

Did you check that your admin has enabled the store for your organization first (in my post above)? They should never sign in with their personal account. It won't work. They MUST sign in with their organization account. They should be totally logged out, cache cleared from their personal account.

Just adding to this thread the response I received from Microsoft support in case others have the same problem:

"The Product team confirmed that this is a known issue with Windows 8.1. If they just installed the client the Windows 8 store serves up the wrong package and doesn't auto update that an update is available.

If you can find instructions for forcing an update check in the Windows 8 store. It should pick up that a PowerApps update is available and then update. It's unfortunately something that will not be fixed as the Windows 8 store is viewed as a dead platform."
